Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough quality assurance testing on web and mobile applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and user stories.
• Identify and document defects with precision, providing clear and detailed reports for efficient issue resolution.
• Conduct compatibility testing across various browsers, devices, and mobile platforms.
• Execute regression testing to validate bug fixes and maintain software quality.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, optimizing testing efficiency.
• Continuously improve QA processes and testing best practices to enhance overall product quality.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies for web and mobile applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience in quality assurance testing for both web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques, test case management, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and adapt to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with mobile testing on various platforms (iOS and Android) is advantageous.
