Technical Project Manager (Website Development, Mobile Applications, Custom Software Projects)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in managing website development, mobile applications, and custom software projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including website development, mobile applications, and custom software projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, and ensure adherence to project milestones.
• Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Monitor project progress, track performance metrics, and report on key project metrics to stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns raised by team members or stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing website development, mobile applications, and custom software projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of mobile app development platforms and technologies, including iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles.
• Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
