Full Stack Developer (Core PHP and Shopify App)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Core PHP and Shopify App development to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate should have a strong grip on Core PHP programming (WordPress Theme & Plugin Development) and extensive experience in building Shopify Apps.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom web applications using Core PHP, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
Develop Shopify Apps to extend the functionality of Shopify stores, integrating with Shopify APIs and services.
Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and relevant front-end frameworks/libraries.
Customize Shopify themes and templates to meet client requirements, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design specifications.
Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications and Shopify Apps to enhance functionality and provide additional features.
Optimize web applications and Shopify Apps for performance, security, and SEO, following best practices and optimization techniques.
Stay updated on the latest technologies, tools, and trends in web development and e-commerce, and recommend innovative solutions.
Must have team-leading skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (Or equivalent experience)
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on Core PHP development (WordPress Theme & Plugin Development) and Shopify App development.
Extensive knowledge of Core PHP programming language and experience in building custom web applications from scratch.
Proficiency in Shopify App development, including working with Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and App Proxy.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap and front-end frameworks/libraries (PHP, React, Vue.js, Liquid CSS).
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento) is a plus.
Familiarity with Shopify Plus features and capabilities.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
